oh mine doesn't beep! which actually annoys me because I like to open the door as soon as it's finished so when the steam comes out the dishes dry and don't get that locked away in an old cupboard stale smell to them... (Dishlex, that is. Husband 0.1 Model gives me a running commentary so I always know when he's done )

We used to have a Fisher&Paykel two drawer dishwasher and it was wonderful to begin with! But then we had it in stoarage for 2 years because our rental already had the same dishwasher and when we moved and installed ours it just wasn't the same. But then again, that's what happens when you ignore machinery for 2 years!
I truly loved it, but got really ticked when the touch panel on the inside of the drawer (that does all the cycle serttings etc) would just not work, or you would press one button and it would activate a completely different function.
We're in the market for another (since we offloaded the craptacular one to the landlords of our old place) and we're thinking just a singe door dishwasher. I'm loving the look of the new Bosch range with the water saving system (they call is Aquasensor technology) and the cutlery drawer option that makes me feel faint with joy (yes, I am tragic - but I am in serious dishwasher withdrawal)
They're probably quite exxy, but they look fabulous
Just replying because I am looking at what to buy as well. We currently have a F&P, which i don't like (probably has something to do with it being broken all the time)
I keep looking at the new Bosch ones that are suppose to be the most water efficient on the market? (10.3L per wash) Googled very quickly yesterday and found we are looking at around $1500+..Dh reckons he doesn't care how much water it saves
I did come across a website that had prices that looked like they were lower than RRP...Google for Pricebeaters and see what price they have on there. best thing was for freight it was $60 to any state outside NSW!! Well, at least for the one i was looking at.
I did find a dishlex that uses 11.9L of water per cycle, for about half the price....
We just bought a stainless steel Dishlex a few weeks ago for $600, forked out the extra cash for the one with the 4 star water rating (the cheaper ones are only 2 star). It's super quiet and so far so good.
