    Time to Spring Clean

A massive day of spring cleaner is in order today. I am so sick to death of my dirty house. And it's dirty it's even gone past the messy lived in state - I'm so embarrassed at the state of my house

Time to stop whinging about it and scrub this place!!!!

So what is your spring clean job list??? I'm sure there have been threads but I can never find anything, so hopeless on computers, LOL!!

    Thanks,
    Dan.

I cleaned out the kids toys, under their beds, their bedrooms in general and their shoe boxes yesterday. I came away with 3 bags full of stuff to donate! Mostly baby toys the not-so-baby-anymore has grown out of, but it feels SO good to declutter. I was disappointed when DH had to go to work, I would have kept on going and done the rest of the house!

I have to find the time to clean the wooden slats on our blinds! Doh, they just take ages!

We're moving house in December so for now its just a Saturday clean most weeks.

I'm hoping I have a strong nesting instinct by the time December comes because I honestly am not looking forward to cleaning window tracks, scrubbing walls, cleaning fans etc etc!

Good luck. May the Domestic Goddess shine down on you today!

I start at the top and move downwards. So dusting, walls, windows, blinds etc done before I even attempt the floors.

I'm going to be finishing off my spring clean this weekend, want to finish the two bedrooms, a bit in the loungeroom and then re-attack the floors (going to get on hands and knees and scrub the tiles). I'm cooking heaps of food to freeze today so the kitchen & tiles will have to wait until that is all finished.

So far I have done the kids wardrobes and draws, given away clothes that are too small and written a list of what they need for spring/summer. Have also done toy clean out and will take some to charity tomorrow.

Next on my list is linen and kitchen cupboards which I will hopefully get done this week and then I will start on walls, floors, grout, windows, furniture and appliances. Then nag DH to do garage and shed lol!

Wow. I really need to do a big clean. We moved into this house almost two years ago and I did an massive chuck out/donation when we unpacked. We desperately need to do another one now - especially since we need to clear space for #2!
