Try some trusty bicarb soda - make it into a paste with a little water and use it as a scouring powder. If that doesn't work, spread the paste over it and leave it overnight. Good luck!

Not sure, but to prevent it happening again don't put it in the containers until it's cooled, and don't heat it up in them either![]()
Apparently spraying the container with oil before putting the tomato based thing in it is supposed to help too.

I believe tupperware recommend Fairy dishwashing liquid as getting rid of unwanted stains....but I have no evidence to support this, just an ad I saw!
rub some vegetable oil into the stain.
Tomato will bleach out in the sunI often used to put my plastic containers out in the sun for a day it really works for tomato, not sure about carrot, pumpkin etc though.
