OMG, I thought I had OCD when it came to cleaning the house, but clearly not!! lol.
I actually do the vac once a week, but wait, I vac EVERYTHING. Couches, cushions, chairs, lamps, remote controls, phones, tables, computer, printer, my cat....lol. When the vac comes out I am ruthless.
I actually feel better now, I'll have to tell my friends I am not a clean freak like they think I am haha.

only once per week at the moment and it's driving me crazy. I just can't find the time during the week at the moment with a small baby who doesn't sleep much during the day (and when he does I'm not vacuuming!). We have a fireplace and drag wood and crap in all the time. I just have to ignore it until Saturday morning. In my perfect world I would probably do it once a day, but I just can't see it happening.

I think the fact i have a dyson makes a difference too..i serioulsy , serioulsy LOVE seeing the crap in the barrel my dyson picks up.....weird i know...

If I can 'see' stuff and it's really obvious then I HAVE to vacuum it.

So the bedroom carpets ahem, I have been known to vacuum them 2-3 times per day.

Now that makes me sound like Mrs Clean and honestly, if you saw my house you would laugh hysterically at the idea that I vacuum even once a month.

The rest of the house is polished boards and concrete floors. I'm impervious to dust and filth on there. I literally can't see it. It doesn't get vacuumed and it doesn't get mopped.

It's only stuff on carpets that bothers me. And I have this whizzy rechargeable, cordless vacuum cleaner so there's no faffing plugging it in. I don't know how I lived without it.
