We bought a new kettle and now ever time i boil the water there are floaties int he water.

It isnt in the tap water as it runs clear, and even though the kettle has a filter it still comes out into the jug (i still boil h2o for the kids and drinks etc).

What is the cause? is there anything i can do to stop?
