    My old machine did it but i think i had left it wayyyy too long before trying to fix the problem.. GL, a good clean out should work well

    I dont have a hot wash

    Will it work with cold water and HOW much vinegar?

    Umm maybe use the same amount of vinegar as you would fabric softner...
    If you wanted dilute some in HOT water and give it a clean out with a sponge first THEN put a little in with an empty cold wash.

    Try some vinegar, cold wash is fine.
    I had this problem with my old washing machine. I didn't get to the problem quick enough, and long story short, I have a new washing machine now

    eeeeeeek! i hope i'm not too late! i used to use vinegar as my fabric softener but ran out & forgot to buy more...then forgot about it all completely.

    ok, super hot wash is on now with vinegar

    Fingers crossed that's all it needs. My old machine was about 9 years old though.

    OMG i have so much to learn. I throw powder in and thats it
