Bay leaves, those triangular sticky traps from bunnings (REALLY effective!), wiping the cupboard shelves with vinegar, washing the containers in hot water and putting cubes of that stinky white stuff on the shelves (can't for the life of me remember what it's called...my Mum used it to keep them at bay all through my childhood).

We had a total infestation about 3 or 4 years back and had to just keep cleaning and trapping until they were all gone.
