i leave everything the right way out(in? out? you know what i mean!)
i wash all our clothes from the previous day together. (we have very few whites.. if any!)
towels on there own
sheets/doonas on there own
powder and lots of fab softner tipeed into the final rinse (i dont measure, i just pour!)
ok.. umm
matching colour pegs for each item
i use one quarter of the clothes line for each of us (3) and one quarter for towels
pants hung with 3 pegs from the top
tops are pegged at the armpits (occasionally i hang tops straight on a hanger on the line, if it will go out of shape)
one peg per sock/undies
peg sharing with towels and sheets etc
ok, i think thats all!
isnt it funny.. i do all that without actually thinking about what im doing!
if the clothes are in the wash basket inside out they stay that way if not i dont care lol.
I do separate loads for -
DH's work clothes (he's a mechanic)
kids clothes
sheets and towel's
anything else gets mixed (very few whites so if i have something i want to be careful with i tend to throw it in with the kids stuff)
I use powder- no fabric softener as its not good for front loaders so I've been led to belief (i could be wrong but it what my dad used to drum into me)
who hangs out clothes? isn't that what my dryer is for? PMSL
Seriously i pay no attention sometimes peg share other times not depends on my mood but i do shirts from under the arms, pants from the bottom as i find they don't crease as much with the weight of the waist band and gravity. I am not fussy as long as it gets dry. I am a huge fan of my dryer for sheets and towel's though.
