PMSL Fiona - that is classic! IF my DP did any vacuuming his schedule would look the same I think!

I hate housework but I try to do it on Mondays and Tuesdays - my mum comes on Tuesdays so she can entertain the girls while I clean as I find it too hard to do when I have them under my feet. I also use cloth so I wash every day. I try to put the washing on at night so that it is done and ready to hang out first thing in the morning. We have a front loader so it can take over 2 hours with a big load so if it goes on overnight I can make the most of a good drying day - that's my only hint

    I'll share DP's Cleaning Schedule:

Day 1 - put vacuum cleaner in the middle of the lounge room.
Day 2 - plug it in and leave it there.
Day 3 - Vacuum rug. Admire handiwork. Leave vacuum still plugged in.
Day 4 - Perhaps vacuum under dining table. Again, admire handiwork and say, quite a lot, "ooooh, I love my vaccum cleaner - it's so powerful".
Day 5 - put vacuum cleaner away.
    Day 6 - rest.
    Day 7 - rest.
OMG, that is hilarious! ... just like my current cleaning schedule! ROFL

I'm not sure you will ever get your washing baskets empty, unless perhaps it's really warm weather and you don't wear clothes for a day or two.

I think the important thing is to have a place for everything. And to put everything in its place straight away. Most of our mess is stuff that doesn't have a proper home, or stuff that someone's put here 'just for now', like bills, books, clean clothes, cups, bags.
Nelle, that is SO TRUE.... Might try going naked for a couple of days to catch up!!!! LOL!!!
