    umm never..

We've lived here for nearly a year and I've never cleaned our oven...geez I hope the last tenants cleaned it when they moved out

I really should hey..it's just hard though with DD clinging to me all the time, it's hard enough to go to the toilet! I think there is a now very well roasted piece of potato sitting in the bottom of it too..it's only been there for a few months, with say an average oven use of 3-4 times a week..yep I'd say it's cooked.. *redface*

My H just cleaned ours 2 days ago as part of my pre-baby spring cleaning. We've been here for 2 years. It never gets all that dirty though because we're vegetarians.

It was cleaned properly by the cleaners about 15 months ago when we moved in. I've wiped it out and cleaned the racks since then.

We have an oven sheet we keep on the bottom of the oven, so if any crap overflows it goes onto that. Then just take it out, wipe it off and all is good - makes it so much easier.

Err... You're supposed to clean it??
I was thinking the same thing LOL

We have been in our new house 3 years, I definitely remember cleaning it at least once, maybe twice LOL

I didn't realise there were professional oven cleaning services - must get on to THAT!!

Oh dear......confession time..........I don't remember the last time I cleaned the oven but that's not the worst thing!!!!! ...........the oven is SELF cleaning. I just have to set it to the right temp and then wipe it out when it's done. Shame, shame Starangelk.

The last time I cleaned the oven was when I went into my cleaning frenzy shortly after DS was born - so a couple of months ago. Got a lovely caustic burn on my arm too for my troubles (which still hasn't faded BTW!) I have decided that the oven doesn't like me as it is the second major burn I have received from it in 2 years

I'm another with my hand up about the oven cleaning company!!!!!!

Outside gets done a lot. Inside......eeeeehhhh not so much. LOL. My excuse is that its a free standing oven and now I can't leave it open to do its thing with the spray with DD running around. Well, for a month or so anyway.....

Same. We went to do it last week and cause there is so much crap on it there was a very bad smell and smoke so we just turned it off. Must give it a manual clean first me thinks !!

Ummmm I usually clean the door (inside of it) weekly and give it a bit of a going over with my enjo weekly as well. A full-on clean about quarterly (and I do the inside of the air filter thingy above the stovetop at the same time). I don't use commercial cleaners so find it easier to do it often. If I have any citrus fruit starting to go off (lemons / limes / grapefruit) then I'll do it earlier.

In my house in Aus we had a really rubbish oven....so I told DH that I would not clean it until he got me a new one.....4 years it took....and I never cleaned it once in that time!!

We got the new oven just before we moved to Singas, and I cleaned it once before we left! I sure hope the tenants keep it clean!

We moved here 3 years ago and I have been promised a new oven since then... I don't see the point of cleaning it if I am getting a new one.... shame I am still waiting ;-)
