I'm doing the same kinda thing to my house have a thread in here called a little OCD.

It's so daunting thinking that there is a whole house to clean and organize. But my hopes if I can control that and Do that well. Then maybe other things in my life could work just the same

Cat I completely agree that it is so daunting the idea of an entire house to clean & reorganise so we just need to take it a step at a time. Write out a list of everything you want to do and then just pick one thing at a time and do that - taking on too much at a time makes it too hard to do and we don't do anything. Well that is what I find anyway.

Just picka job a day and we'll be your cheer squad

Oh Cat! You're more than welcome to post your list in here, you wouldn't be hi-jacking at all!!

Today so far I have blitzed the kitchen & dining area, swept, hung out 1 load of washing & folded 2 loads.
I have so much more to do. I'm really down, grumpy & anxious all the time right now because the house looks so terrible. I have half sorted the toys out, so I WILL get the lounge room & kids toys sorted TODAY!!!!!!!!!

I've made a promise to myself!! Anyway... I've had a bit of lunch so now back to it while the kids watch Nemo!

Ps. Keep up the great work girls!

So jealous, wish my kids would watch a movie so I could do some cleaning without "help". DD will but DS who is 2 must help me do everything. So cute but gee it makes it take a 100 times longer.

My goal today is to get the two older kids moved in together and their room tidyied up.

Some help though ladies - my kitchen sink drain smells. What can I use to get rid of it?

Yay Liv!! You'll have to put some pics on FB, would love to see their new room once done
For the drains I don't like using Draino or anything, so I use 1/2 Baking Soda & 1/2 cup Vinegar. You just pour it in there, leave it for a few mins then flush with boiling water.
It fizzes up a fair bit, so be prepared Also, they recommend not to use it though if you have used a "commercial" drain cleaner in the past few weeks.

    After coming home from a 12 hour night shift, I have;

    Washed dishes
Tidied up kitchen and dining room and wiped down table and benches
    Tidied up lounge room
    Vacuumed entire house
    Washed floors
Folded and put away two loads of washing.

I am now completely and utterly stuffed and I still need to put away the Christmas tree. Think I might b going to bed instead.
