I will take it as a compliment

Like a few pointed out, it helps too having DH help clean up and keep the house tidy too.

However maybe it is having a "bad" side effect on my 2 girls i was cleaning yesterday and they asked to help, which i let them of course and...................... They LOVED it LOL we had the music going and they were having a blast! so much fun that DD1 has asked can they help dust and vacumme again hahahahahaha

My SIL is freakishly clean. They went camping & the campsite was IMMACULATE! But the kids do alot & me brother knows she'll go off the deep end if he doesn't pull his weight.

My house has its moments. When I'm working I'm pretty good. I work from home, so I have to be organised & get into a routine. I do get easily frusterated when DD is upset or sick & I can't get things done though I mean over the top annoyed....

But my house has more embarrassingly messy moments than clean ones. I have a day of a sick baby clinging to me & my entire house gets absolutely trashed. I'm trying to get my kids to help out, but its just easier to get it all done, in my way, when they're at school.

My ex did nothing to ever help. So my house was rarely clean back then. He had no respect for me or the house, so I had no interest. He'd leave dinner plates, butt filled coke bottles, rubbish, ash trays & dirty clothes all over my loungeroom. Never picked a single thing up after himself. Including sharp knives when he'd had them for whatever reason. I hated him smoking inside, but he refused to stop. My house will never be that disgusting again!

I may leave a coffee cup or 2 in my loungeroom for a night & not do my washing up for half a day, but the rest is mostly kids toys. I definately need more storage though! Still getting household items together since moving here.

If you can manage it and have fun doing it, more power to you!!

My house? A MESS. This 3 bedroom home contains 3 adults (yes, 3!), 2 teenagers, 1 child and 1 toddler. That's 7 humans in a smallish house.
Then there is 4 dogs and 9 guinea pigs.

My back is scr3wed so I can't do a great deal to help with the housework so it is left up to DP who is pathetic at cleaning.
The kids have chores too and the 3rd adult that lives here is my mother who is just as disabled as I am... Still, my house is a mess. No way in hell are we LAZY.
