Joy - it was our first time through IVF. I had a very strong reaction to syneral - that even when I was on gonal-f it didn't relieve the symptoms that much. So while I was feeling terrible - the nurses at the clinic kept telling me that it was great.

Before starting on IVF, I would absolutely HATE having blood taken - I would jump every time the needle went in, would ask the nurses if they could talk about anything and not tell me when they were going to jab me. The last two weeks, I've watched them put the needle in, and haven't jumped at all - the gonal-f injections are a dream - they don't hurt at all.

My cake turned out quite well - it didnt' involve a huge effort, just a long time.
