So at 10.20 am today we saw our little embie on the screen. It had divided into 5 cells.
The FS was not hopeful as he believed that the cells should have divided 6 to 8 times, not 5.
Anyway, we shall see what happens.
I also had booked into the IVF clinic counsellor. At the time, it was because of all the issues going on at work. However today's session was more about catching up and looking at where I was at in the IVF journey.
I am hopeful for Tenacious to do his/her thing, but if not, this is not the end of the road. Now I will know what to expect.
For the moment I am accepting of the fact that I am changing from the old to the new. As the counsellor said - a transition period, whatever the result.
I am very happy to hear your embie is now safely tucked inside you. Ask Sushee about the number of women with slower growing embies, and even fragmenting ones, before transfer that now have a resulting child running around their house. The uterus is the BEST place for your embie to have the BEST chance at growing. All the growing nourishing vibes I can muster are heading your way too
