We lodged an item not received claim with ebay but because we had been in contact with the seller for a little while and they were stringing us along a bit, we missed the 60 day cut off and they wouldn't do anything to help us.
Same thing happened to me with a bulk bundle of childrens clothes. I paid about $60. I got an email to say that they were on the way after I had lodged the dispute, but I waited too long for the package and the items never turned up and Ebay told me they couldn't help because teh time had lapsed.

Hope you get some satisfaction. It's so disappointing when this happens!
