Has anyone used this as a CD rom? We don't have great internet connection at home and DS really likes using a computer. I also think he is a bit ahead of where his kindy is teaching and it would be nice for him to have something like this as I think he would enjoy it. Also looking for something similar for maths as he is pretty keen on that too.
Not sure if it comes as a CD.... I am really bad at remembering names but there's a supposedly good maths one called Maths Invaders or Maths Attack or something like that.... again, the early years teachers love it. I'm pretty sure some of these things can be downloaded so you don't need to be connected to the net...
Krysalyss, the cds are pretty good, but if I were you I would buy them in the set over buying each cd separately, with each cd costing rouund $20.
Was wondering though, can someone remind where I can get the printoffs when online? Its starting to do my head in and I know its an easy answer, but cant remember for the life of me where it is. Tah!
Beans, there is a print off bit in the My Stuff tab but I think it is just the certificates? Is there somewhere you can print off worksheets for practicing handwriting?
DS is loving this. We have been doing it for almost a month and he is up to map 6 with no signs that he is losing interest.
Yeah Artechim, there is meant to be an area where you can print off the worksheets that you get in the books if you buy them separately. Im starting to think its on the dashboard (i think thats what its called) and now I just have to find out where to find it.. Darn simple kids programs making it too hard to find stuff!
How does this compare to Letter Land? DD has access to Letter land at Kinder and it is clearly working because when we use flash cards at home, she sings the songs from Letter land. But when we did the ABC reading eggs, she got really bored very quickly. I haven't seen the Letter Land program myself.
