Sounds like you are all smart girls who have done your research. I know of a few who jump in thinking it is easy and drown. I often have had people ask me about schooling at home and I tell them not to take it on lightly. It is not always easy and a huge responsibility but so fulfilling and I wouldn't change a thing.
