Nearly half way through the year - I can't believe it! Who else has had school reports and parent-teacher meetings?

We had ours yesterday after getting the mid-year report on Friday and we are very happy with how DD1 is going - apparently she is 6months ahead in everything (so performing at an end of prep level) except for writing where she is performing at 18m ahead (so end of grade 1 level ) She is loving school which I guess is why she is doing well - she really applies herself and wants to learn so I can't ask for more than that.

The only negative is that we have had to treat for headlice twice this year - there sems to be a recurrent infestation in the calss and it is so annoying. There has also been whooping cough in the school.

We are all looking forward to the school holidays!
