My boys both go to a Catholic K-10 school. It's a wonderful little school, classes are very small (around 20 in kinda and 25 in the others) and they have the 1/2 2/3 3/4 class set ups

We love it there. They were in a public school in Hobart because the privates were WAY exxy, but the public school here sucks and the private is only at the end of my street and affordable so we sent them there

My DD1 has been to 3 schools. 2 very small public schools & one Catholic school. I personally chose the school based on the number of kids really.
We lived in a smaller town with a school of 12 when she was in kindy. That was a bit too small though & the kids she was friends with were about 9, coz there were no girls her age. Too old IMO. So we moved to a bigger town & I chose the Catholic school with about 150 kids over the public with about 300 kids. TBH the area we lived in wasn't great & I didn't want her at school with some of the kids I met.
Then we moved here 18 months ago & both girls go to a public school of about 50. I'm very happy with the school. Unfortunately though they might have to change again
We've decided to try build our own place 40 minutes away. Its just to far to drive them here every day & there is no bus that comes out here. Our options will either be a small public school 10 minutes away, or into town to the Catholic school. Not sure what we'll do yet.
They'll more than likely all go to a public high school though.
