No, not positive thinking, Robbins isnt into that. Its focusing on other things, like I said, lots of laughing, get him laughing any way you can, like through comedy. Emotions are very, very powerful. Changing your state and your story is the biggie.

Its amazing how many people talk of people they know with cancer who are holding intense hatred or bitterness towards someone. We hold this inside us and it affects so many things, our state, psychology, physiology... Often the cancers growing in places that relate to that problem too, you can read about disease being in places of significance. If this isnt enough to let go of grudges, I don't know what is. We all need to learn how to change our state and story.

An important thing to realise is that disease is the body's attempt to cure. You cant fight it if you want to win! Just like a cold/flu, you've put your body out of balance, so in an attempt to fix itself, you have all this mucus being excreted to get rid of it. What do we do? Take flu drugs to try and keep it down/in us. We have to work with our bodies and recognise that disease is an attempt to heal... The body is incredible! Sadly around 50% of people will end up with some form of cancer - healthy lifestyle is great but its not enough. We all know people who are 'fit and healthy' but then get serious disease like cancer or heart attacks at a ridiculous age. We need to realise there is more to it.

In The Secret, again she watches comedies and her mantra is 'Thankyou for my healing.' imagine the state thats going to put you in, compared to, 'I'm going to die', or, 'It's all hopeless.'

    Good luck hon. Xx

    CQ -
Acknowledging the severity or devastation of a situation doesn't mean you have given up hope. So saying - 'this situation is pretty crappy/difficult etc' is ok too I think the dangerous part is to have no other state ITMS. I love the ideas of creating some laughter and love to surround your DP in. There can be avery fine line between trying to 'jolly' people out of their negative thoughts and being a positive force.
