I'm always trying to get my hands on great development books - today my copy of The Alchemist arrived! Been so looking forward to reading this book, so many rave reviews about and even Will Smith said it was his favourite all time book when he was interviewed. So that's what I have right now. I also want to read my copy of The Four Agreements which sounds brilliant too. What are you reading, or planning to read next?

Kelly, I've got the audio version of The Four Agreements in my car stereo right now. I first read the book about 1o years ago (?) and thought I was totally across the concepts, now I'm discovering it all over again and finding I didn't understand as well as I thought I did LOL.

I've got a few other audio books and videos (louise hay, wayne dyer, neale donald walsch) waiting on my bookshelf, needing a big intake of inspiration/motivation right now, I'm getting ready to make a shift in my life. The book I'm actually reading is Peace of Mind by Ian Gawler, teaching meditation, I think this practice is going to be what glues the rest of the shift together.

I've got 3 on the go at the moment.

Personality Plus by Florence Littauer - no idea where I got this book from, it appeared when a girlfriend visited, it was probably her xh's book because he used to read books like that all the time (shame he never took any of the advice that is one reason why he is her xh)

Your Money (starting out and starting over) by Anita Bell - my brother gave me this book to help me get my financies back on track after a few years of going backwards

The Five Love Languages - Gary Chapman - I'm trying to work out my love language so that I can better understand myself and know how to open myself up a bit more.

Other than uni texts, I bought a new book, part 2 of a series (a sequel series, actually!). Haven't started to read it yet - will do the moment I finish my exams.
The Ambassadors Mission by Australian author Trudi Canavan. Lovely lady to meet! Her books are fantasy books.

Kel, have you read "The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman?
It's written as a fictional story, but has the intent of a very strong emotional growth theme behind it.
I read it years ago & things happen now in my life where I think of this book & can relate things.
It definately stays with you. The author is very inspiring as well.

Well worth the read as you can make of it what you see personally, which may be a completely different message to the next person that reads it & gets something out of it
