Yep, I'm a fairly uptight kind if person... Nearly all of the above applies here although I can clean my teeth and spit infront of my DH... Although I do feel awkward spitting into the little bowl at the dentists.

I also prefer a quiet start to the day and so does my middle child... We both suffer terribly with the eldest and youngest noise in the morning. If I had a quiet start to the day I reckon I could achieve anything... As it is I never get a peaceful start so I won't be Prime Minister anytime soon!

I have a fairly defined personal space. I prefer talking to people from across the table because it means they can't stand too close. It's ok if we are sitting side by side, say, on the train... But not face to face.

Another person who likes to poo in the privacy of my own house.
Can't stand people breathing on me. Especially when trying to sleep. Doesn't matter if its DD or DH can't stand it.
When I walk across a bridge, jetty or raised walkway I have to walk along where the support beam is underneath.

the only one i can think of that im still bad with is cooking.... in school everything had to be just so, and dont the way i wanted it done, usualy leaving my patner to do the place settings and the clean up now im not so bad, mainly as the end of the day i just cant be bothered! if im doing baking i usualy wait till the kids are asleep as they want to "help" or lick the bowl, and it just dosnt go well with me!

oh and if im fixing something df usualy takes over, as its HIS job to do the handywork i litraly jumpo up and down like a child!! ima do-it myself kinda girl!!

with the toilet issues, if i gotta go, i got to go! but only if the "facilities" are flushed and clean. df gets shirty with me if were out and i have to find a loo i feel sick if i hold on for to long.

Now I knew previously that the loo thing wasn't just me as my brother and I have discussed it at length, but it is heartening to see so many others. Mustn't be an uptight thing at all.

God people like that **** me! And people who let their kids wander all over the place in the shopping centre...like...if I did that when I was a kid my mother would've flogged me into the middle of next week!

On that note - teenagers (13-16yo) who hang out at Hungry Jacks on a Thursday night, wandering around the car park like browns cows, miraculously not getting hit, smoking, making out, getting in everyone else's way - WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS???

I have been known to use my out of control children as a weapon. On one occasion a bank teller refused to give me a statement for our business so I sat down with my children and rang DH while they went nuts. DH rang the bank manager who said 'are they your children tearing up my bank?' DH said 'yes, and they are staying there until you hand over the statement'
Two minutes later I was walking out the door with the statement *cue evil laugh*.

Looks like normal behaviour to me :-)

I will poo in ANY toilet. It's what a toilet is for! I work in medical so, ya know, if you get it in the toilet and not in your pants... job well done!

Funny thing is, my pet hate is people who choose to wee somewhere other than a toilet. If you're out in the middle of the bush, fair enough, but in the 'burbs? People who wee in the back yard, in a park, you see people pulled up beside the road... put it in the toilet people!!! There was a thread recently about a postie weeing on a fence. WRONG!!! Stop at Macca's, postie man!! Oh, I could just go on and on....

But poos... yep, as long as it's a toilet, it's all good. Don't care who sits next to me, don't care who might smell it... a toilet is for poos and wees!!

The fine print says.... unless you are very ill and incontinent of urine or faeces, in which case I will help you in a most dignified fashion!!!

Lol, I'm okay with the poos, but I get really uncomfortable if I have to use someone else's toilet (particularly if there are men other than DH around) and I have AF and need to change product. It's hard to disguise needing to get my handbag and take it with me to the toilet, and worse having to take used things with me (not so bad since going cloth but still). When AF returns, I'm so getting a cup!

I have to admit I'm another who saves #2's for my own home DH will go anywhere, I don't know how they do it. I can't stand how he'll whizz in the backyard! I think "there is a toilet literally on the other side of that wall..."!

I always put the seat down & it irks me when visitors leave it up! Gosh I sound very toilet obsessed now

Um...what else? I get really uncomfortable when someone makes me a coffee & puts the milk in before the water.

after washing dishes,i can NOT leave the kitchen sink until every last bubble is washed down the drain. we have 2 sinks so the bubbles go back and forth back up the opposite drain. lol. i get there in the end

DF has to go outside to clip nails/toenails. can not stand the sound of the clip.

also, when DF lifts his pillow and it kinda goes on top of mine, and pushes mine down. sooooo annoying. (y did i downsize to a queen)

My DH will pee outside off the front veranda. We live in a cul de sac. All it will take is someone looking out their front window, or stepping out their front door and they're gonna cop an eyefull of DH's junk. I don't know how he does THAT. I couldn't really imagine going out there and having a squat and waving when one of the neighbours see me having a wiz, i mean really! HOWEVER, that patch of lawn is really quite lush. just don't step on it...

I have to turn the TV/Stereo volumes up in lots of five, if it's a number controlled thing. DH likes to make me jittery by turning the volume up and leaving it on 17 or something stupid... i *HAVE* to change it.

I won't parkmy car next to other cars. If i have to I always park it next to a nice car because I don't want someone opening their car door on mine and denting it, or bashing a trolley into it. (and I'm assuming someone who has a nice new car is gonna be anal about it...) I know that is very judgmental of me (judging peoples behaviour by what sort of car they drive) but I don't care. I paid alot of money for my car and I don't see why I should let other people trash it when I don't even trash it myself.

I am a self confessed snob, however if I needa poop, i can poop anywhere

^^ Yeah that. Why are all the pad and tampon wrappers so damn noisy??! And such bright colours? I want CAMMO pad wrappers not bright pink ones!!!

Oh and i have another secret uptight behaviour. Yes I am one of those ladies who keeps Aquium hand gel in her handbag. It's right up there with trying not to breathe when someone near me coughs or sneezes. Ugh.

^ Wow - sounds like you might have an athlete on your hands! What I mean is the ones who let their kids like run around them in circles, or run around the kiosks like wild things, or laugh and think its cute when their kids run into other people instead of apologising - there are SO many of them here its mental. When compared to your situation, the difference is easy to spot! If I can see the effort is being made to try and control the child, it doesn't bother me, but parents who appear to refuse to actually parent...grrrrrrrr.

Crumbs. On the floor. Do my head in! I have to resist running for the little hand held vac. DH is the worst offender. Even when he uses a plate, all these crumbs end up on the floor. Why can't people eat neatly?

I can't stand polystyrene. The sound and texture gives me goosebumps.

I also have to shower at night or I cant get to sleep.

I need peace and quiet at night to wind down.

Anything that lands on the floor must be washed. If someone drops the dishcloth and then wants to dry the dishes with it, I'll take it off them. I've seen people use a benchcloth to wipe something on the floor then use it again on the bench. I nearly threw up.
