    Question Bowel Resection

    OK, so who has had or is going to have, a bowel resection?
    What info / thoughts / experiences can you share?

    My friend just had one on Tuesday, and she is looking for this info as well so if anyone has any suggestions, specifically IRT recovery time etc it would be great!

    I'm booked in for a bowel resection, hopefully keyhole, with Dr Morgan (Liverpool NSW ) on July 2nd. I have been told to expect to be in hospital approx 5 days and recovery time should be 4 weeks till i'm back to normal.

    HI, i had major bowek surgery(resection )10 yrs ago, due to Crohns.. I was in hosp for 7days, and recovery about 6weeks.
