Bowel Resection

My friend just had one on Tuesday, and she is looking for this info as well so if anyone has any suggestions, specifically IRT recovery time etc it would be great!

I'm booked in for a bowel resection, hopefully keyhole, with Dr Morgan (Liverpool NSW ) on July 2nd. I have been told to expect to be in hospital approx 5 days and recovery time should be 4 weeks till i'm back to normal.
