    bruises

    As the title suggest

I still have three large bruises after surgery to remove endo and hydrosalpinges (sp?)

It's been three weeks and they are still blue/ green!

    How long does this take!

Don't know for sure as I've not had the surgery, but I would imagine it takes a while!! Are they still as tender as they were, or are they starting to feel better? I would really only worry if they were getting more painful, but if the bruises are starting to fade then I would think everything happening normally

    Hope that helps

Hi Loula, I had a lap done on Friday and I only have the smallest of normal looking bruises at the incision sites. It can take a while for a bruise to heal, especially if it is a really deep one. Maybe they were a bit gung ho in manouvering the instruments around in there? I have a lot of soreness in my navel and general abdominal soreness too, just not a lot of bruising. I hope it starts to heal soon for you
