    Dealing with Endometriosis

Hi, I have been dealing with endo since my very first period....about 16yrs now!! I have had multiple laparoscopy's to determine the cause & the severity & it was rated as highly sevre. It is so hard to cope with & manage the pain naturally, the only thing that got me by was a over the counter pain killer called "Myrsandol" I found it took the edge off it enough to get through the day & I ended up taking the night time ones also as these sent me straight to sleep & lasted a good 6hrs! I tried all different remedies from the pill, to operations & nothing ever worked....then we finally fell pregnant after trying for almost 15months (I was sure I would never fall pregnant)! Jack is now 3months & 2 weeks old & I have had 2 cycles since his birth & neither have been as painful as before. The Gyno said that pregnancy is the best remedy for Endo but getting pregnant could be a bit of a hurdle. Hopefully the pain subsides to mild for ever & may even disappear (or could I be that lucky)! But I am soooo thankful to my lucky stars that the pain is nowhere near as sevre as it used to be...there is hope out there & I have found a glinche of it. I hope the ladies out there that have endo get relief soon also.

I have also heard that pregnancy is the best remedy for endo aswell.

I had a laparoscopy when DD was about 6 months old & had my endo burnt away which seems to have helped.

I'm glad your pain has calmed down & I hope it continues to diminish for you & one day you will remember "back" to when you had the pains.

Congrats on your new little addition too
