    Don't loss hope!

I just wanted to tell my story, so those of us who are going through hard times at the moment know that there is always hope!

I was diagnosed with a very server endo & had a lap about 2 years where they removed endo from almost every possible organ in my body (including the diaphragm and liver). I also had bowel resection as a result...

After the operation we tried to conceive naturally for about 6 months, but we were unsuccessful.

We then attempted IVF with 7 unsuccessful transfers.

I also tried herbal medicine & acupuncture & what not?!

I then took a break for a month, because we went overseas. While off the pill (& with no help of IVF), it happened! We conceived naturally with a very special baby boy.

While I was doing IVF, the clinic always advised me to avoid doing it the natural way, while we are also doing an IVF cycle, because then we may take the risk of having multiple births…

I guess my experience shows (& my sister’s experience was the same), that it may be a good idea to continue to try the natural way… but its clearly a personal choice!

I also should mention that, like many other people, I was iodine deficient (which can affect the chances of conceiving)… After taking iodine & other vitamins (such as E, C & B) for a mummer of months, it happened.

I realised that Drs’ (most Drs) advice is limited! I believe that I managed to reach the right hormonal balance by eating healthier food & by taking additional vitamins & iodine.

Don’t loss hope! I was in a really bad shape less than 2 years ago and now I’m feeling good & counting down the days to meet my little angle….
