    Endometriosis?

I'm having this terrible stubby pain in my" vaginal area". It hurts to pee or poor, and it's not like a period pain. If these pains come when I'm walking to have to stop and bind over it doesn't stop the pain at all. After may be 10 seconds of the pain starts to ease up a little then it would go away may be for the moment. I take painkillers that make my cramps (from my period) go away, but it does nothing for the other stubby feeling in my vagina. I've been reading up in this Endometriosis, and other young women have the same feelings I do what exactly are Endometriosis symptoms, is it dangerous?

From what you have said it doesn't sound like Endometriosis to me. I would be going to your local GP ASAP and having the pain check out. Endo pain does not hurt when you pee or pooh.

Could be an infection of some kind, perhaps a bladder one. I'd be seeing your doctor ASAP.

My pap smear is perfect and during my ultrasound and trans vaginal my ovary and uterus are perfect but in my left ovary, they found that I have cysts. I decided to make a schedule which is laparoscopy operation. In God's help just removed my stitches yesterday, but I still have a problem, and they called it minor endometriosis, is it a big problem. I still have chances having a baby? My minor endometriosis found after my laparoscopic operation. My Question is: How the endometriosis will appear to the uterus of the lady? Am so happy that my cyst is removed without doctors we are not diagnosed.

    Hi Marrybruce,
I had very similar feelings to you about 12-18months ago. It hurt to have sex and after several trips to different GPs it wasn't getting any better and worse still we were trying to have a baby. I ended up going to a Gyno and had a laparoscopy, where they found out I had endometriosis. It can make getting pregnant harder, but once you are pregnant, it does relieve the symptoms and improve the condition, so does the pill apparently. The Gyno recommended I go on fertility drugs, but I ended up getting pregnant with out them. I can't really give you any facts on it, as I am not very clued up on the whole thing, but I will try and answer any questions you have. Hope that helps a little.

I had severe endometriosis and went on to have 3 kids naturally. I think it affects each person differently.

I have severe endometriosis and was told I would NEVER conceive naturally because both my tubes were completely blocked.

I say "were" because apparently one (or both) of them can't be blocked anymore as I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and it happened naturally.

Lynny, can i ask how long you were ttc before you got pregnant naturally?

I have endo and 6 mths ago doc confirmed that my tubes were blocked. Left totally and right side had delayed response (that gives me hope!) We have been ttc for 23 months now.

I really want to still have a chance of a natural pregnancy, not keen on getting into ivf.

Jules - I guess I was TTC "unofficially" since March 2005, so about 2.5 years. Mainly because when I found out my tubes were blocked and was told I would need IVF to get pregnant, I figured that I did not need contraception. So DP & I stopped using it. I always figured that we would need to go and do IVF. Pleasantly suprised big time though when we found out I am preg

I have no explanation why, must have something to do with the higher powers above
