One treatment of acupuncture isn't really enough at all. I have had a cycle corrected (non PCOS, had very heavy periods for an extended period of time) before in one treatment but conditions like this need a bit more. You can get cheaper acupuncture at some of the teaching schools. I'll see if I can get more details for you if you're interested, I know someone who worked there.
