More hugs from me, Danni.
I've been reading your posts about the medical problems you've been having and not really knowing what to say, other than your story is so familiar to mine. Right down to the liver problems.
It's now got me wondering if a lot of my problems in the past were down to the PCOS as well...
It's a diagnosis and things can be done to help. As BG said, the low-GI diet is really helpful. If I follow the strict low-carb and high-protien diet my FS has me on I feel pretty fantastic - more energy, etc. Like BG, I'm also on the severe end of the scale but my PCOS tends to manifest itself more in a metabolic way than it does in a physical way - it has more of an impact on how my body works than most women with PCOS, but very little impact on my physical appearance which sometimes causes my doctors to be extremely shocked when they see just how bad my hormone profile and my insulin resistance are.
Always here to help if you need it.
