Thanks for your reply sleeby, the more that i read posts in this thread, the more incredulous i become that all of the psychiatrists i've seen haven't realised that my mood issues are related to hormones - i was diagnosed with bipolar! Next time i go for my scan i think i'll ask a few more question re: metaformin, thrush and whether I should have a glucose test. It seems that although doc's have mentionned in passing that I have poly cystic ovaries, they seemed to brush over it like it didn't mean anything. They didn't link it with the depression, period problems etc.
