Oh cool TK! Hope it works for you. Sounds like it did before
I've only been on it 3 weeks so I've still got to give it a couple more months. But already my cycle shortened by 10days so yay!

Update on the metformin situation... my last cycle was 37 daysI'm hoping to have a shorter "normal" cycle this month. Have lost 2.5kg since I started taking it (5 weeks ago) and have not changed my diet on little bit. That is awesome too!
TK - how did you go at your GP?? Have you started back on Met?
xoxo
Picked up my metformin yesterday. I am on 1500mg a day (one tab in morning, two at night).
Not sure why, but I am nervous about starting. I hate nausea
Really hoping it will help me shift some kgs!!!
I went back to the GP in August and then to my Gynae in September... still PCOSing away but am no longer insulin resistant which means that metformin will do diddly squat. My Gynae prescribed clomid but I am too scared to start it (scared of what I am not sure).
ETA: My cycles are still all over the shop... currently CD57 with no sight of any ovulation and my 'normal' cycles are usually 41 days... did a HPT but it was BFN
How are the other met mummas going?
Hi all,
Just thought I would poke my head in with an update.
I am on the full 1500mg (started a couple of weeks ago). The only symptom is a daily dose of mild diarrhea (sorry tmi!)
no real weight loss to speak of (a kilo or two). I have not had any nausea, cramping or vomitting at all....thankfully!!
Today is cd16 and I had an opk surge yesterday so my cycles are right on track.
One thing I have been reading about is metformin can really help with egg quality. I am praying this is the case!!
