lis - that's true - not many know about Metformin being used for PCOS either. I know the pharmacist was shocked I was taking it for PCOS.. I went to renew my script, and commented that it'll be my last one (coz after the first tri I was stopping it) and he was horrified and asked why (coz it's a diabetic medication.. and people are usually on it for life!). I had to explain the whole pcos/insulin resistance thing to him LOL.
