Please don't worry too much. There is so much to be done for women with PCOS these days. The way I see it it's far better than having an unkown cause of infertility, cause at least you know what to do about it.

In my case, I was on metformin for PCOS for 6 months before we decided it was time to TTC. I fell pregnant in two months. Thanks to metformin I was ovulating by myself

So there is hope! BTW there is a great support group specifically for women with PCOS. There is a sticky in the main Endometriosis/PCOS discussion thread.
