I'd say its the breastfeeding stopping your AF (I still could be wrong) as even if you are bf'ing you will still have the bleeding right after baby is born (for 4 to 6 weeks, called lochea or somesuch) and then stop bleeding till your body is ready to get back to normal.

Just because you bled while feeding your DS doesn't mean your body will be the same with your DD. Plenty of women have had different experiences with feeding different children.

I'd leave it till your DD is on solids and you are feeding less before doing anything. She's only 5 months so I'm assuming you have left solids till the recommended 6 months (although my DD2 didn't start solids till after 7 months) and is having less bfeeds.

Its bizarre how different PCO sufferers are as my sister had nil AF's and still managed to fall pg naturally twice. Whereas I have regular AF's and had a very difficult time falling pg with my first 2 kids.
