That is one part of PCOS, yes. But once again, it doesn't effect all women. There are other factors contributing to my miscarriages, it wasn't all PCOS. Some women find it harder to stay pregnant, while others never have miscarriage problems at all. The hard thing about PCOS is that you can't say for sure how it WILL effect someone - there's a range of possible symptoms and everyone seems to get a different set so no two women with PCOS are effected in the same way.
I also have poly cystic ovaries but don't have the syndrome. Fortunately i have been highly fertile so now worries there. I have had one blighted ovum incident that resulted in a miscarriage but otherwise i've been fine (not necessarily related to the PC ovaries)... I conceived 3 months after that and went on to have another healthy baby. ETA: my sister also has PC ovaries and no syndrome... we both have 3 naturally conceived children.
