    Well I've lost 5kg without even changing anything since being on the metformin

    Hi Miss K,

    Do you know if you have insulin resistance? I would suggest that you get blood tests done to check for that. If you have, then by most accounts Metaformin is great. I have PCOS, but don't have insulin resistance so it would be no good in my instance.
