Bit of a long story but I was diagnosed with PCOS about 5-6 years ago (23 now) and finally just starting TTC. My question is that my Gyno has told me previusly that when we are ready to come off the BCP and try for 3 months and if nothing happens go back to see her and start treatment. I am in my first month of being off the pill and I already know that I am not going to ovulate therefore no matter how many times we BD nothing is going to come from it.
My question is do I give it a chance and just wait it out or do I not bother waiting and go to the FS and finger crossed get myself a baby .
I am about 54kgs healthy and athletic and I have a good diet. im taking vitex atm to possibly help me ovulate but no luck as of yet.
Any suggestiong would be greatly appreciated and also what is the cost of clomid.

I would just go to the FS and start treatment ( I'm guessing thats clomid?? ) I was on clomid this time, only took me 3 cycles to concieve! good luck Hun! Xxx
I'm just concerned that you were told to try for 3 months to ensure that the BCP was completely out of your system and your body had a chance to ovulate on its own? Not sure...
I tried for 4 months, then went on Clomid and got pregnant on the 2nd cycle.
i dont think it matters if te bcp is out of my system or not i know im not ovulating and its starting to get really depressing, and more so that i ave friends who are fortunate enough to try once and BAM baby lol.
i think we will go ahead and make the appt to start Clomid.
Do you reccommend it and how did you find taking the drugs eg side effects? also is clomid expensive?
