    what do you think?

    Hi ladies,

I always have a second line when using OPK's. It's always there, never faint, but not a positive either. I googled progressive OPK pics and mine look exactly the same as ladies with PCOS. I have always suspected I may have pcos, but the only symptom I have is irregular cycles and lots of follies (15 on one ovary and 18 on the other, I think)

Is there any other reason for ALWAYS having a second fairly dark line?

Why don't you speak to your dr Hun? It's worth suggesting it.

the number of follies and constant positive OPK's would have me asking for gyne referral and additional testing - sounds like PCOS to me hun

do u have any other symptoms of PCOS? for me i have PCO but not the syndrome. i had an u/s and blood tests done to confirm. might be worthwhile for u. i have long irregular cycles but nothing else. other symptoms of the Syndrome include excessive body hair (incl facial), higher testosterone levels, acne, weight gain or difficulty losing weight, thinning of hair on head or receding hair line, and some areas of thick skin.

maybe have a blood test done....?? hth

Thanks everyone, I have been TTC for 2 years now and have had all the BT's and ultrasounds. Was seeing a GYN and he put me on clomid, no luck there. I don't have any other symptoms, I am not overweight, no hairy bits, no insulin resistance, no high testosterone, nothing. So It's really a mystery. I don't think there is much they can do anyway is there? I just had a m/c so i know I can finally concieve, but now I am 40 days post m/c and no sign of AF or anything

Maybe, but I don't think I have endometriosis, my Af is usually light and pain free. I have read about it but, what exactly are the symptoms?
I'm pretty sure i have annovulation, when you have cycles, but don't ovulate, only sometimes.

they can diagnose pcos through a laporoscopy also - thats all i meant!

i really had no idea i had endometriosis - i always had painful period pain and was very heavy off the pill but thats all i can put it down to - i just thought that was normal for me!

maybe it might be worth talking to your gyno about a laporoscopy

    hth xx

I would definitely speak to your doctor or better yet a gyno as most GP's didnt study gynocology and don't know everything. Lucky for me my GP did so that is why after 3 years of issues i was finally diagnosed. I have PCOS and with that i have very irregular cycles, im lucky to have fallen pregnant twice naturally as i was told i would never. I am insulin resistant, over weight because of that and find it impossible to lose any weight. I don't have any other symptom so no acne, extra hair or any other nasty side effect.

I wish you luck with everything.

I too dnt have painful periods and usually light and lasts abt 3 days.

So best to go see doc abt it so at least u knw wat u are dealing with.

I had positive OPKs even AFTER I O'd! Crazy PCOS hormones. It is quite possible. Ladies with PCOS have higher levels of LH in their system, rendering OPKs pretty much useless, although this month I got a +ve OPK around O time and negs before then (but I think that's cos my cycles are starting to even out).

    Good luck xoxox

That would be great, hopefully very soon. I am also going to try seeing a Naturopath that has been recommended by a few people I know.
We'll see how we go, but I am damn sick of waiting!!!
