She's got a pretty big heart when it comes to this stuff. The first story she ever wrote was about Charlie and Lola saving the planet.
She's nearly 9 Nettie.

That's wonderful - the way to change is definitely through our children - children have an innate knowing about the wrongness of some things.
Maybe google for her sustainable palm oil plantations. As there are ways without endangering the orangutans - this way she will see that many adults are putting their money where their mouth is.

Wow, you must be so proud! It's great to see kids being educated about these things - as Inanna says, this is a great way to bring about change.
DS1 is in prep and the school, after a project by two older students, are now having a campaign to reduce the use of glad wrap, foil etc in lunches. DS is so on board with it - it's great to see.
