Take action on the 'Aussie kids aren't guinea pigs campaign'.

The GM soy in baby formula was so easy to predict if you are keeping up to date with all the latest on GM foods.. in fact, personally I wouldnt go near soy in any foods unless it is Australian certified organic!
I just get so furious about what companies like Monsanto are trying to do to the world food supply and I feel so helpess to do anything about it!!
I receive regular email updates on GM food from both greenpeace and MADGE. As someone from MADGE said in relation to this latest campaign against S-26 baby formula, "Australian Mum's shouldnt need to get arrested to protect their babies!" Just ludicrous! Why do we always have to follow in the foot steps of the US? - they seem to have no civil rights over there anymore and seems we are treading down the same path.

You can take action on the 'aussie kids aren't guinea pigs campaign' here - there is a letter already set up via Greenpeace that goes straight to Nicola Roxon, you just have to add your name and email address. The more people that do this, the better I say!!! So please take action on behalf of all Aussie babes and future generations!

oh and in case people weren't aware, Australian labelling laws are currently being reviewed - and conveniently at this time, US biotech companies are currently trying to pressure the Australian government to change labelling laws so there will be absolutely no way that Australians will know if GM ingredients are in any of the foods we are eating! You can read more about that on Greenpeace too... NOW is the absolute best and right time to pressure the government on this issue!!!
