Their new milk storage bottles are meant to be thrown out after use, i am not sure if the ones that come with the pump can go into the freezer, I have never used them on the freezer only the fridge.

I haven't seen those bottles for storage? Just the bags that can connect to the pump. I did buy two extra bottles and teats though so now I have three. But don't freeze in them.

I got them from the hospital but baby bunting also has them, I remember seeing them when I got the avent ones.

loula i used the medela bgs first time around, with DD2 i bought and LOVED the trays from mothers direct!

I only stored a few times, but used the Baby Cubes when i did. I just checked their website and i think they are BPA free. The come in 35ml and 70ml sizing, easily stackable upon one another too.
I found them online at a few places, i think you may be able to get them from their website?? I found mine in Big W though, for a really good price.

i used these too or just an iceblock tray. As DS got bigger i started using the avent cup things. they are reusuable it just says on the packet it discard once signs of wear appear. I think they're 10 bucks for a pack of ten? they come already sterile with all the attachments to so you can use it straight on your pump/bottle - assuming you're using avent ones!

Really I thought it was a week! Eek DS had milk a week old. But usually I do it over two days that was a bad week! ****

The paperwork from the hospital says 5 days for milk in fridge at home. In fridge in hospital for two days.

3-5 days if at the back of fridge, up to 6 months in the fridge freezer, and up to 12 months in the deep freeze (chest freezer) I think I was told by the (rather fabulous) LC @ Peel.

I use the advent cups. I think they say to throw them out after about 10 uses but I'm still using mine. The only problem with them is that they take up a fair bit of freezer space so if you get quite a stock of EBM it might not be practical.

I feel slightly peeved... all the milk I've thrown out that's only been 2 days old *sigh* oh well!

I think its good to have a combination
I used bags You can add to an already frozen bag as long as the milk is cooled iin the fridge. From memory I froze about 100mL in each bag and then bought Milklines from the ABA. They are long ice "line" cube trays which have a lid. They make 30mL lines which are easy to put into bottles.I would freeze them in the trays and then transfer them to freezer bags. The combiinaton worked well so we could make up whatever amount DD needed to drink.
Good luck, expressing was very "character building" for me.
