Babies bite because they are learning how their mouths work. They feel things with their mouths and are exploring their options.

They may bite more when teething Australian Breastfeeding Association - Biting and Breastfeeding

    If your baby is:
    weeing frequently
    gaining weight
happy after most feeds for a little while
then they are getting enough milk.

As for expressing, there are many reasons for not being able to express much, most of them aren't actually timing-related:
*check that your pump works and that the cone-shaped bit is the correct size for your nipple
*distract yourself - read a book, watch the telly, etc
*hand express until things squirt and then reach for the pump

    thanks for the feedback.

this baby bites while they are half asleep so it totally doesnt seem that it could b e intentionally.
