i had them from grade one through til early year 7 when they went to full blown headache migraines - was getting them weekly at least - ended up in hospital with suspected appendicitis more than once. in year 10 we went to a neurosurgeon who finally diagnosed the migraines and said they were "abnormal migraines" (ie, no neurological cause) and wanted to leave me on really expensive preventative meds for life. year 11 i got a migraine that had me so ill i couldn't move for four days. my aunt suggested i see a chiro - and i was cured within hours. i'd been in a car accident in grade 1 and had done damage to my neck - 10 years of hell from a neck injury!

if the neck xray comes back showing something, great - you know what to treat - if it comes back clear, take DD to a chiro and get them to check her out. if i get headaches now i'm straight of to the chiro - usuallly it's from my neck being out but sometimes it's from strained muscles in my neck and shoulders - due to the headaches i can't feel any muscular symptoms though... if my back is out lower down, i still sometimes get the migraine pains in my stomach too!
