Being closer to the city would mean for us it would be easier to do more things, so Im assuming we would spend more time doing stuff as opposed to wasting half the day travelling. they hardly use the back yard...the ground is infested with bull ants and *shudder* spiders everywhere, every day I have to clean them off the washing line.
