my df has been short listed for a 3 month on / 1 month off position in afghanistan. i'm dreading hearing him get the job, but financially, we need this. we're on a property, that i hate being on my own on overnight. it's only 2.5 acres, but it's still enough to feel a bit isolated. ahh well, guess we'll wait and see.
