Not romantic here at all.

DH thought it would be easier to get him insured on my uk car insurance if we said we were engaged. I told him it made no difference. But he just said well we'll go get a 'friendship' ring. Anyway the ring cost more than he was expecting so proposed. (have now another engagement ring that matches wedding band lol)

We phoned his parents in Aus about 1am

Soon his dad was on a flight over to visit his 'sister' lol. And no dought to chech me out lol

Engaged after knowing each other 4 mths, married 4 years later.

And growing more and more in love everyday. (if there were any mire room for mire love ;0). )
