My DD1 has always been very imaginative, she can take a couple of mundane objects and play with them for hours, making up scenarios and situations.
She quite often pretends to be a dog, one day she went for 6 hours straight, quite impressive I thought.
Today though she has outdone herself, she has a brand new friend who has beautiful hair but is very shy, she loves to play play-doh and kick the soccer ball outside.
A very quiet girl ------ it's the mop. Yup the mop, her new best friend.
I had a quiet giggle to myself not quite sure if I should be worried or not.
Children who have a great imagination are so rare now as too many kids are focused on things like tv, gameboy DS's, wii's, etc.
I would be so proud of your DD and the way you are bringing her up. Just think of the stories she will be able to write and the things she will think she can do!
Just out of curiousity...does she like books and do you read to her alot??
Abby is such a gorgeous girl mate - you should be so proud of the job you are doing to let her expand and play with her imagination - and not dampening her spirit.
