Oh Leash My dad forgot mine too this year, and has for every single year since I was 10. I think I'd be more shocked if he actually remembered, than if he didn't!

I can't believe your mum forgot though - thats horrible

I'm sorry that you have to go through this, cos its just crap. And even the million messages on your facebook (heehee) wouldn't make up for your parents not contacting you.

Oh you poor darling, that is awful! I cannot imagine how any mother can do that to her child no matter how old. My daughters will still be my little girls when they are 50!!
Happy Birthday beautiful girl from someone probably as old as your mother!!

That sucks. My nan forgot my birthday this year, that hurt. Especially cos I'm the only grandchild that remembers hers, and I remind all the other grandkids to send her something.

Are your family just not really birthday people? On the upside, you're off the hook for calling them on their birthdays...

I'm so sorry i cant believe parents could forget birthdays like that, not even a text! I am in even more shock that they didn't remmeber Jazz's birthday!
:yeahthat: that's exactly what i thought, and was so shocked too

Just as Audax mentioned - Are your folks NOT into celebrating birthday's cause i still can't wrap my head around this but still no excuse if they know you love to celebrate your birthdays and how important it is to you.

It was always important to them. Very important. Growing up I wasn't even allowed to have a party ON my birthday because it was a FAMILY ONLY kind of day, and I had to asked permission to go out on my 19th birthday. I ended up going out after our family dinner.

Mum text me today. No excuses, she just said she forgot. Dad got back on Tuesday I think, but nothing from him so far (my parents are still together though).

    They're coming up tomorrow.

It's a bit late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'm so sorry your family forgot. You wouldn't think they would - and it hurts more than you can really explain when they do.

I unfortunately sympathise with you darlin.. my father forgets every year.. and it still hurts every time. My brother called me a couple of days before my birthday this year and said "hey happy birthday in case I don't call on your birthday". I still don't really know how to feel about that one.

Funny though - if you forgot their birthday - i'm sure you'd hear about it.

I'm sorry you're hurting mate - maybe you should take yourself out and get a pamper pack at the local salon. Give yourself the best birthday present money can buy. It's your day - you should enjoy it :-)
