hehe that is true. I had that the other day, sitting here blogging then thought, hmmm the boys have been quiet for a while...

Turns out all was well and they were playing so nicely with the lego in the bedroom, all 3 of them lol Had to take some photos and blog that too!

Sorry to be a downer here but i never want to hear my baby boy yelling "i hate you" at me.
I yelled it at my mum a few times while i was an angsty teenager and nowdays i can't forgive myself.

and the moment my least favourite childs saying is "Broken".

Harry says it often and it has unfortunately meant a lot of things. Such as:
oops I broke the skirting board off the wall.
Mum, the car is broken - fix it, and I don't want to hear its impossible.
I've knocked you laptop off the dresser again and the power cable has come loose so the screen went darker and I want my movie bright.... and on the dresser.

I dunno Sophie - I'd take it that I was being strict enough! We never yelled it at my Mum but I wouldn't say that was a good thing the way we thought of her.

when you hear two or three of them going "shhhhhh auntie punks is coming", then you know they've done somthing major

It's the silence that's a big problem in this house - it never bodes well.

DD1's expanding vocabulary now allows her to inform me when she's done 'p!ss' (thanks for teaching her that, DH) or 'poo' - always *after* the event instead of before, and usually somewhere on the floor.
'Broken' usually means she's destroyed something of mine or DH's, and 'Broken' preceeded by a high-pitched squeal means she's destroyed something of her own (two nights ago it was her precious plastic headband she got in a showbag, she was distraught for hours).

'Eggies!' usually means she's dragged the carton out of the fridge and chances are she's smashed at least one on the floor (she loves boiled eggs and attempts to make her own).
This scenario also applies to, well, her announcing any food item out loud - bread, mookie (milk), maninamite (Vegemite), corn cakes (corn thins), etc etc. Food = mess.

And, I'm forever grateful to DH for teaching her 'c' word. Yup. *That* 'c' word.

I know its bad when I hear DD yelling 'oh no look what (DS) has done, it's really bad'. When I heard that tonight, DS had tipped a full bottle of shampoo and a half bottle of body wash down the shower while showering with DD. And I thought DH was supervising them! Unfortunately, the stuff wasn't even ours. My mum left it here after a recent visit. oops...
